Dear Valley Green Naturals Friends,

For many years, Valley Green Naturals has been a deeply meaningful part of my life.  What began in my farmhouse kitchen with a commitment to creating handcrafted, pure and thoughtfully formulated products, has grown into a wonderful community of customers who have supported this small business with extraordinary loyalty.

​

As many of you know, the natural skincare industry has changed considerably over the years.  The marketplace is now crowded with brands competing to produce more, grow faster, and sell at lower prices. Unfortunately, that often means relying on synthetic substitutes, inexpensive fillers, mass production, and other shortcuts that Valley Green Naturals has never been willing to take.

From the beginning, I have believed that “natural” should mean something -- and that customers deserve products made with integrity, transparency, and genuinely beneficial ingredients.  Maintaining those standards has always mattered more to me than chasing trends or competing with companies built around volume and aggressive marketing.

​

That will not change.

​

What is changing is the pace at which I would like to live and work.

​

I have reached a point in my life when I am ready to step back from normal year-round operations and enjoy a well-earned semi-retirement. This new chapter will allow me to devote more time to assisting my elderly parents, spending time with my family, and enjoying part-time life in France.  Yes, we are buying a house in France!

​

As a result, I will be discontinuing several products in the Valley Green Naturals line; however, I am not closing the door entirely.  Several longtime customers have already asked whether they may continue ordering the products they have come to know and love.  I am very happy to accommodate special-request email orders for customer favorites while I am in the United States and able to produce them.

​

These special ordering periods will generally be:

• Late November through mid-February
• Mid-June through August

​

During these periods, you can contact me by email to ask whether a particular product is available or can be made.  Because production will be limited and certain products will no longer be offered, I may not be able to fulfill every request, but I will do my best to continue making a carefully selected group of longtime favorites.

​

Outside these seasonal windows, I will not be maintaining regular production or order fulfillment.

​

This was not an easy decision. Valley Green Naturals has never been merely a business to me.  It has been a creative endeavor, a personal mission, and a relationship built over many years with customers whose trust I have valued enormously.

​

I am profoundly grateful to every person who purchased a product, recommended Valley Green Naturals to a friend, sent an encouraging note, or returned year after year.  Your loyalty made it possible for me to build a business grounded in my own values, and to maintain those values without compromise.

​

This is not so much an ending as it is a gentler and more personal way forward.  I look forward to continuing to create a handful of special products for longtime customers while also making room for family, travel, and the next chapter of my life.
